For Matthew's birthday this year, he chose Mario! I did my first attempt at a Mario man. I wanted to carve him out and do a big giant cake, but in the end I decided to just do a normal cake and "paint" Mario on the top. I realized too late that the arms didn't match but even still, I think it came pretty dang close. And most importantly, Matthew thought it was awesome! Here's a peek into his birthday celebration! I still can't believe I have a SIX YEAR OLD!
