Kris came back!

Aunt Kris came back to town to spend a week with us on her break.

Mark grinning at Daddy

Aunt Kris doing pushups with Matthew "all aboard"!

Matthew took Mommy's spot dancing with Daddy... though
all he wanted to do was eat his snack. LOL!

sweet words

Today I was talking to Matthew about when Aunt Kris leaves... (she's been here since Thursday pm and is leaving Wed pm)

I said "baby, you're gonna miss that Aunt Kris when she leaves, huh?"

His response: "I so miss her"

dad

My dad had his first treatment Thursday. Mom says it was very painful. It's hard to think about your daddy in pain. In physical pain... in emotional pain.... I ask just to please continue to lift prayers up for him.

His next treatment is in 4 weeks.

I love my son

... well both of them, yes. But I meant the first born in this story....

Yesterday at the park I needed to get Matthew to leave. Normally this is a battle if he's not ready, he's NOT ready... I squatted down to his level and said "Matthew, can you listen to mommy for a minute?" he looked at me and put his hand to his ear (the sign for hear) and I said "do you want to go home now and get your new paints out?"

his reply: "OKAY!!!!!!!!!!" and he bolted to the stroller.

I got to the stroller, strapped him in and said "thank you for being such a good boy and not giving mommy any trouble right now."

he didn't bat an eye, and said: "thank you for the riding the slides"

LOL!

This too shall pass

On a facebook group about cancer awareness... was this posting. I thought it was worth sharing...

A king went to a ring maker and asked him to make him a ring that would make him happy when he was sad and sad when he was happy. The ring maker became very worried and thought about it for three days. On the third day he returned with a ring which had the following incription "This too shall pass"

More of a reason to live each day to its fullest and help other people live their days to the fullest they can be. Please donate to a cure because there are many people around the world who simply dont have enough days to live their lives.

This too shall pass
גם זה יעבור

Myös tämä on läpäistävä

random cat story

Okay, WHAT is my cat on these days?! Currently he is trying to break into the office closet as I type this. It has the accordion style doors and he's like beating them trying to wedge between them to get in there. Last night he was trying to open a closet in the hall by actually turning the door knob (that's how long he is)... and earlier in the evening he was trying to open the front door closet by sticking his paws underneath the door trying to get it opened. Jamie also just told me that earlier he was in the bathroom trying to open the door, had one paw on each side of the door knob. What gives cat?! Moses has is trying to escape through the closets! Fortunately he can't get outside, we have the child safety lock knobs over the normal knobs for all the outside doors. Apparently they are child and cat safety knobs now!

pictures

Uncle Rick, Aunt Chas, Shelton and Bryton came to meet baby Mark!

Like that last one of Matthew tagging behind Bryton in the backyard.

~~~~~~~
Also wanted to include some pictures of both my boys.
Love love love this outfit of Mark's.
"Such a busy day at church, need to rest now.
Can someone loosen my tie?"
Just a couple sweet ones of Matthew too.
Love his "cheeeeese" face.
And finally a friend from a message board I'm on made me a sling and I just love it, wanted to post a picture of it. Thanks Jen (her site)
(and Nic for orchestrating it!)
