So the STL trip was great. I spent a lot of time rekindling old friend relationships from Choir friends. The Choir concert was really a blast. It was amazing to sing in that kind of group setting once again. I loved every moment of it. My favorite part of the STL trip though was of course getting to see my best friend again and her kiddos. I am in love with how our boys now play so well together, around each other and all that. They are so much fun to watch. The rest of the week was spent just mostly hanging out with my parents.
Then my mom came down to GA with Matthew and me and stayed for an additional week. I loved having her here. I was totally "off duty" for a week while she took over everything Matthew related. I got caught up on some much needed sleep throughout the week. She was a wonderful blessing to have here.
